I use a Goodway steamer. Works great, I use it for interior & exteriors. Have used it on wheels with no issues.

There is a place for steam on exteriors but at this time I have seen/used/tested not a single unit that have made it practical. There are better methods that are just as green.

We use steam on exteriors on nearly every detail we perform, but not as a source for the wash process.

We are testing steamers again this winter, two new units in our office this week! Amazing on oh many new producers of steamers are out there and how many great steamers have surfaced and how much junk there is also. I am aiming at testing 10-20 brands and sizes over the next few months so we are on top of the subject.

Stand by....watch here!

Thanks Renny.  You have always been a thought leader on this and other subjects.

is there a hybrid approach, that maybe hit the below the belt stuff, then you caome back with another process for above the belt and windows, etc., where there are less issues?

I woudl think it has a place somewhere in cold weather markets?

The steam can assist in some situations in cold weather but vapor freezes faster then water as the vapor is thin and creates an ice membrane over the surface! If you work fast...the steam works...I just think at this time the cost of the units vs. other options we have at our fingertips.

With that said...I am going into overdrive this winter/spring so let's see what we can find! Also talking to a company that desires to build a new level of steamer that would kick ***!

Wish me luck...

I wish you luck!

PS  I love it when someone says "Call me a cab" and you say "You're a cab"  and I do wish you good luck.
